WHO IS A GOOD CANDIDATE?
Any healthy individual with no serious medical problems may be a good candidate. If you are pregnant or breast feeding you should not use Dysport.
WHAT CAN DYSPORT TREAT?
Dysport is especially effective for treating deep frown lines and wrinkles for a younger looking, more relaxed appearance.
WHAT IS THE TREATMENT LIKE?
Quick and minimally invasive, Dysport is precisely injected just beneath the surface of the skin into the root cause of wrinkles. No anesthesia is required, although if you are extremely sensitive, an anesthetic cream or an ice pack may be applied prior to your treatment. Discomfort is minimal and there is little to no downtime.
HOW LONG WILL THE RESULTS LAST?
Typically, visible results may last up to 4 months. With repeated treatments, results may last even longer since the underlying root cause of the wrinkle - the overactive muscle - has been retrained to become less active.
ARE THERE ANY SIDE EFFECTS?
Soreness, mild bruising, headache and temporary eyelid droop have been reported nationally. At SkinCare Physicians & Surgeons, only highly experienced board-certified physicians and certified nurse practitioners administer Dysport. Side effects are rare.
