Tiny beams of laser energy are precisely delivered to small fractions of your skin, producing excellent results with minimal downtime. Optimal results are achieved with a series of 4 to 6 treatments.

WHO IS A GOOD CANDIDATE?
Patients with early to moderate lines and wrinkles will achieve the best results. Deeper lines will be softened and minimized.

WHAT IS THE TREATMENT LIKE?
The procedure is a simple, effective and precise. The skin is first numbed with a topical anesthetic. The laser is then carefully and meticulously guided on the skin surface, penetrating the outer layer of the damaged or wrinkled skin - encouraging the growth of collagen.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT AFTER TREATMENT?
A mild sunburn sensation immediately after treatment is common.

HOW MANY TREATMENTS ARE NEEDED?
Since each Fraxel re:store targets only a fraction of the skin's surface, more than one treatment is required. Depending on your skin type and the condition being treated, 4 to 6 treatments are recommended for optimal results.

IS THERE ANY DOWNTIME?
Temporary redness and swelling may occur and last for several days. Since the skin is sensitive immediately after treatment, intense sun exposure should be avoided for 1 to 2 days.

WHAT TYPES OF RESULTS CAN I EXPECT?
Even after only one Fraxel Laser treatment, your skin will become softer, smoother and more vibrant. After a series of 4 to 6 treatments, fine lines and uneven pigmentation will noticeably fade and pores will shrink - and your skin will feel and appear tighter and smoother. Final improvements may continue for up to 6 months.

WHAT AREAS CAN BE TREATED?
Fraxel re:store™ treats aging and sun damaged skin, acne scars, wrinkles and skin discoloration. Since the top layer of skin is not removed with Fraxel re:store™, even delicate areas such as the neck, chest, arms and hands can be treated.

WHAT OTHER TYPES OF SKIN CONDITIONS CAN BE TREATED?
Fraxel Laser is extremely effective for treating acne scars and pigmentation problems. Fraxel re:store™ can also treat a condition known as poikiloderma of Civatte - extremely sun damaged skin of the neck and chest which appears as a mottled patch of red, brown and white.
