Highly capable Nurse Practitioner

Jennifer M. Griffo is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner who is licensed by the state of California. She completed her undergraduate education at Ohio State University where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Radiologic Technology. Pursuing her interests in direct patient care, she received a Masters Degree in Nursing, also at Ohio State University where she was inducted into the Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau.

Specializing in acne and healthy skin

Jenny began her medical career as a Radiologic Technologist, working as a Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist in a level one trauma center at Ohio State University Medical Center. Upon receiving her Nurse Practitioner degree, Jenny worked as a Dermatology Nurse Practitioner in Columbus Ohio, treating children and adults.

As a Dermatology Nurse Practitioner, Jenny has a special interest in the treatment of acne, psoriasis, rosacea, eczema, and warts as well as comprehensive skin examinations to detect skin cancer. Jenny is also skilled in the use of lasers for the treatment of wrinkles, age spots, rosacea, tattoos, broken blood vessels, hair removal, and acne as well as chemical peels, Botox®, Restylane®, Juvedérm™, and Perlane®.

A native of Ohio, Jenny now calls San Diego home. In her spare time, she enjoys training for and competing in marathons and triathlons. She has competed in nine marathons, including the Boston Marathon, and three triathlons. Jenny also enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.
